Terms of Service

1. The service

CallOut! is online subscription software for contractors and service businesses to manage job cards, quotes, invoices, proofs of payment and receipts. It runs in a web browser on phones, tablets and computers.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the actions of users you invite to your company account.

3. Your data

You own the business data you capture. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to capture your customers' personal information. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

4. Payments and proofs of payment

CallOut! records payments you verify. It does not move money between you and your customers and does not guarantee that an uploaded proof of payment reflects funds received.

5. Free trial

New companies start with a free trial of the plan they choose. No payment is taken during the trial. When it ends, the first paid period of that plan begins; if you don't want to continue, cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page in South African rand, including VAT where applicable. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely by PayFast or by EFT. CallOut! never sees or stores your card details.
• If a payment is not received within the grace period, access may be limited until the account is paid up.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed after that.

8. Refunds

Because you can try CallOut! free before paying, subscription fees are not refunded for partial periods after cancellation. If you were charged in error, or charged twice, contact us within 30 days and we will refund the incorrect amount to the original payment method.

9. Delivery

CallOut! is delivered online. Access to a paid plan is available immediately after payment is confirmed; nothing is shipped.

10. Liability

We take reasonable care to keep CallOut! available and your data safe, but the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before a claim.
